Annapolis Harbour Center Pond modifications included excavating the bottom of the existing pond to provide additional storage and includes a large wet pool, two forebays at the inlets, a wetland berm, and safety and aquatic benches. The proposed design will maintain compliance with MD-378 Pond Code and the MDE Embankment Retrofit Design Guidelines. The design combines a wet pond with wetland benches that will maximize pollutant removal efficiencies and provide habitat for native faunal species. The project was confined within the existing footprint of the Annapolis Harbour Center Pond; therefore, no proposed floodplain, waterway, or wetland impacts were associated with this project.
